Yes--it's LED underlighting. Couldn't help myself. $17 kit from Amazon, self-adhesive, runs off my Truetone CS12, does a bunch of different colors. Don't ask why--ask why not!

My first thought was that it is ridiculous, but after looking at it for a little bit it is really quite cool.

If you search Daybetter LED strip lights on Amazon you'll find them--I got the 5 meter length and used maybe half of it. There are tons of these on Amazon under different brands but they're all the same as far as I can tell--I got some to light the inside of my pedal cabinet, too.
And yeah--it's totally ridiculous. But this is my home display board--too big and heavy to haul to 99% of the gigs we'd be likely to play, if that's ever a thing again, so I decided to go big and have fun with it. I coveted those light-up Trailer Trash boards for years but the expense seemed crazy, so the LED strip light idea came to me a few days ago and I decided to try to make it work.
The strip lights power on 12V, so you'll need a power supply with a 9V-12V switchable 100mA tap. There's a little controller box that the light strip plugs into, and you'd connect that to your power supply using a center-positive cable, and then velcro the box to the underside of your board. Works great, no need for the wall wart that comes with the lighting kit.

Bravo! We need something like this in these corona-times! “I Think That This Situation Absolutely Requires A Really Futile And Stupid Gesture Be Done On Somebody’s Part.”

In my case it might so engross me with the lights changing that I'd lose track of what I was supposed to be playing. Can you say "flashback?" (I grew up in the 60's.)

exactly the product we used to wrap this 6 foot diameter peace sign hanging on the front of my house. It's held up amazingly well. going on 2.5 years outdoors year round on a timer at night.

I love it its awesome. I had a trailer trash board like that back in the day that had the blue light. I downsized to a small 5 pedal board now. But no doubt about it that is very cool. Especially gigging.
