Just picked up the Chase tone Fuzz Fella. After experiencing issues with a recent germanium fuzz purchase I figured what the heck let me give this silicon fuzz a shot. I have been more into germanium type of fuzz pedals mainly for their warmth. However this pedal sounds big and warm. Its not harsh at all and it cleans up great. It is also priced very reasonable. Plus Kyle is a great guy to deal with. The Fuzz Fella has great sustain. It also stacks well with other pedals. It's very well made and solid. Plus its pedal board friendly with its top mounted jacks. It get's that Hendrix Band Of Gypsy's tone and can get David Gilmore or Eric Johnson fuzz tones. Its a great fuzz!

Playing it today and it just sounds great. Huge warm fuzz tones. Great clean up. Excellent sustain. I am not into silicon fuzz's. This pedal changed my mind. It just sounds great. Hendrix Band of Gypsy's, Spirit in the Sky, Gilmore, Edwyn Collins A girl like you. This pedal Nails all those tones. It sounds like a fat germanium fuzz. I have paid twice as much for other fuzz pedals that this one blows away. It also stacks great with other pedals. It's built solid like a tank. I had his other fuzz the 68 red velvet its good to but i like this one better. This one has more gain on tap. Just sounds thick and juicy.

I have both also. GigRig QMX loop switcher w/flip switches allows me to toggle between the two. I like that for setting each up with a different tone. Picking a favorite of the two would be tough though.

Faze & Rhino, your endorsement is good enough for me. I just pulled the trigger on a Fuzz Fella. I'll give my Ge fuzz a rest during the hot summer months.

I have not had the desire to go back to germanium at all. Let us know how you like it when you get it. I will be looking forward to your review.

Copy that. The Chase Tone site said the lead time is 4 weeks. Hopefully that's accurate.

I played it both Friday and Saturday night at our first, full-band gig in quite some time. Fuzz Fella into a Z Wreck. To use a phrase "kids" use these days...OMG!

I have yet been able to gig mine. I can only imagine the sustain and lead tone at louder volume. With the drive on the Z Wreck that had to be intense! OMG is about right! Thanks for sharing.

A year of firsts for me this year. My first Dr Z (Jetta combo) and I just ordered the Fuzz Fella from Kyle yesterday. My first product from Chase Tone. Also ordered a custom made SolidGoldFX Rosie w/BC183 trannies from Greg there. Greg said it'll come in a ElectroMan colored case (which is, I guess is an orange metallic look). Trying somethin' new here....got rid of all my ODs/Dist pedals and will be just using the Chase FF type unit with the SGFX Bender II handling the more 70s dirt sounds. Well, I did keep my MXR Timmy Mini for clean and or neo clean boosting. So, all in on Fuzz......should be interesting. Now, I just need some gigs to come back in my region (as usual).
