Anyone here have any experience with 2 Celestion Blues in a ZBest? I know certain speakers react better to the ports than others...
Thinking of running with another Z Best loaded with Greenback/H30.
thanks!

The general consensus is that blues do best in open back cabinets or combos.
But I believe you should make your own decision. Let your ears (and not the comments of others) be the judge.

I put two Golds in a Z Best and didn’t like it at all. As always YMMV.

I've had 70s greenbacks in mine since 2007. They'll be in it when I'm gone.

I've had 70s greenbacks in mine since 2007. They'll be in it when I'm gone. I had some really fresh 68’ H30’s in a Zbest under a Route 66, holy smokes was that good. I some how came across a quad of 68’ Marshall Labeled H30’s that were the best speakers ive ever heard. Loud, Tight, lots of everything. I have had old Marshall cabs but none had drivers like these, ended up selling the quad for $2400 (15 years ago).. couldnt resist the $. I wish i still had them, but if i did id sell em again lol. Closest thing to that sound is V30/H30 combo, tuff to top.

I never tried my Blue in a closed back cab but the only cab my Gold sounded terrible in was a closed back, ported 1x12 cab. YMMV
