Well, my search for a looper pedal was seredipitously detoured when my first choice (Ditto x4) showed up D.O.A. and I then discovered the Pigtronix. The Pigtronix ended up costing me about $130 extra and requires an aux pedal to use the undo/redo and reverse functions. still waiting for delivery on that piece.
here's my short rudimentary demo after about 1-1/2 hours face time with the pedal. i'm excited to get more into buidling live performance pieces with it as well as something to just riff against when i need a tireless practice partner.

That was pretty cool, good video! I have been working with my little Ditto on a tune the last couple of days as well.

Looks like a very useful piece of gear. Your tone is really nice. That's a great sounding LP. What pickups do you have in it ?

the more i use it, the more i figure out i can do with it. i the last post i had two loops running along with a drum machine. i was able to use a handy feature that sets the length of the loop B to be 1x, 2x, 4x or 6x as long as loop A. I put a staccato 4 bar drone phrase on Loop A and a 16 bar chord progression on Loop B using the 4x setting.
advanced features aside, i think even a simpler looper would be just as helpful as i'm finding this one to be in terms of having a non-stop riff or chord progression to bounce ideas off of. definitely helps me put together more complicated musical ideas when the band isn't available. the LP is a stock 2010. It is an R8 VOS with Burstbucker 1 & 2 pickups and a FAT neck.

using a looper gets easier and easier the more you use it. it's become indispensable for working out parts and practicing for my band. This is the ending section from an original tune i wrote last year called "Nice". the 16th note descending line is an idea I got from my online lessons with Paul Gilbert. I never would have tried something like this before i started studying with him. so, old dogs can learn new tricks.
