I have 8 electrics of varying models and they all sound great with my Maz 18, but the one that has the 'it' factor is my Epiphone Les Paul Custom Pro. First, this guitar plays and sounds as good as any Gibson I've played or heard. I've owned some dud Epi's but this ain't one of 'em. It sounds good with other amps, but when I pair it with my Z, it's a marriage made in heaven. All pickup positions sound great and there's not a bad tone to be dialed in.
What guitars marries the best with your Z, and which amp?

My Heritage 535 sounds great with my Therapy. Last week my ‘69 LP Deluxe was magic with the Ghia 1x10 Gold.

My H-535 is magic though my Z-Wreck! Now that I think about it, I've not put it though any of my other amps. That's needs to change!

I'm another "All of Them!" I originally picked up my Maz Jr for my Strat. The Les Paul was just okay at best. Then, one Saturday morning I decided I was going to work the amp to see if I could improve things. I ended up with totally different tone settings for the Les Paul vs my Strat. It's been Love ever since.

Depends on the Z. They all sound great with everything, but I think what my ear likes best is single coils with the ZW Jr, and humbuckers with the Lux. I haven't formed a preference yet with the Jetta, except that it's killer no matter what you plug into it.

I've never heard a Strat into a MAZ not sound amazing and uniquely "Z."

Anything through my Remedy.
As for my old Ghia that I sold: I have a tele that I put vintage low output pickups into. That was a great combination.

Oh, they all get along just fine, it just depends what sound I'm going for at a given time. I've got 7 electrics & 2 amps (one Ghia), so there's a lot of combinations in there.

My Firebird straight into my Nova. Of all my guitars and all my Z amps, I haven't found a combination that sounds better just guitar into amp.

Guild Blues 90 with Dr. Z Cure. I love all of my guitars with the Cure, and the Blues 90 with almost all of my amps ('cept my Boogie- too much mids), but the guitar really shines with the Cure. Fender single coils are great with the Cure, but the P90s have a little more kick. Between the Cure's footswitchable boost and riding the guitar's volume controls, no overdrive pedal is needed for the blues, blues/rock and rootsy sounds that I'm after. I replaced the hot Duncan P90s in this guitar with Mojotone Clone P90s and changed the wiring to "'50s style".
The Strymon Flint is optional- reverb is not needed, but I love its harmonic tremolo.

Never heard one of Doc’s EL-84 amps not sound like a million bucks with a Telecaster.

I’m also on the all of them train. My z-lux though sounds particularly special with my k-line truxton special dual P90s. The cleans are beautiful and present, the edge of break up sounds are to die for, and it just wails with the amp pushed. Special special guitar and a perfect pair with the lux!

I thought my PRS Hollowbody II sounded pretty good on the Ghia yesterday! Just running a Tubescreamer and a little reverb into it.

Every one of my electrics loves each of my Zs.
That said, my reflexive reply would have been that my Ric single coils and Strats have a very strong thing going on with my ZWreck. Through the Ox last night, my 335 has now decided that they also have a thing. Apparently, guitars and amps are all, like “60s free love,” since the 335 is usually so closely attached to the Route66.
