In these days of not playing music with other humans, I am finding the CURE to be a pretty great sounding low volume home amp. Both for just messing around and even getting pretty good recorded tones. For recording, it's at least got to get to a 'loud TV' volume to get something that sounds natural.
I did the JHS jam with me thing this week and think the tones are pretty good. Note I am using pedals for all drive tones.

Good job! The Cure just sounds so big for it's size. Really a great amp, I love mine.

Sounds great. I think the Kirkland tissue in the background just adds to the fun factor.

Sounds great. I think the Kirkland tissue in the background just adds to the fun factor. It's very topical!after the corona apocalypse, when Deer are the dominent species(monday on the way to work i saw 6 deer gathering on a lawn)they will use TP as the main exchange unit.

Great playing and much agreed. After I have discovered "the Cure" I have found it to be an excellent "home" amp!

Sounds really good Johnny! What drives are you using? I too depend on drives with my Cure.

Sounds really good Johnny! What drives are you using? I too depend on drives with my Cure. Thank you! I usually run a JHS Morning Glory as kind of a base tone and layer into it from there. One I am really liking these days is the Lovepedal Tchula. It's a gritty boost that works extremely well with the guitar's volume control.

That sounds awesome! I love my Cure! I use the amp for some of my drive tones (depending on the guitar), a King of Tone for more drive and a Fulltone '69 Pedal for fuzz and get a big variety of sounds.
