Greetings- I have a question regarding the high and low input on the Z-Plus. I know the low input affects a lower db output to the guitar, but does it do anything else with regard to the amp? I'm speaking in terms of eq and breakup. I've read that high is for single coils and low for humbuckers, but I like the high for both. To my ears, the high would be the normal input for a guitar, and the low is primarily a decrease in volume. Appreciate your comment.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure the low input is just padded down with a resistor to drop the input signal level. In and of itself, that shouldn't affect tone. If you want to test this, plug a guitar into either input jack and put a standard on-off foot switch into the other jack. You can then toggle between the hi and lo inputs.

Thanks Mike. I never thought of that. I'll give it a try

That little "trick" sometimes provides just that bit of boost you want on occasion.
