Thinking I need a simple looper here. I actually have devices that claim they can do it, but holy tacos batman.. they are complex to operate. I don't need 24 layers or any of that - just one or two layers would suit me fine. Any recommendations?

Ditto is pretty straightforward. Trio+ is great, you get bass and drums.

Ditto. It has 5 minutes or record time, which is plenty. On volume knob and simple operation.

Well you all talked me into the Ditto. Got one coming. Assuming freight still flows, that is. I suppose eventually it will get here one way or another.

Complexity and the learning curve has always been my hangup with loopers in the past. That, and the two I had in the past didn't have the ability to store the loop. I see that the X2 version with USB fixes the storage issue but adds a bunch of stuff I wouldn't use. My ideal would be the original one with the USB interface. Maybe that will be Ditto V1 MkII. Great concept though.

Great concept though. This always seems to be my complaint. It does what I want, with 50,000 other features that I never use, and are always in the way. Well I have the Ditto en-route. I wasn't sure it would get shipped - surely they are about to shut down everything in Indiana too, so I probably just squeaked in under the wire. Will make my days here alone and trapped in the house a little more bearable.

Mojo to you Steve. Stay safe. I'm safe and I'm bored. Actually went out and worked in the yard today - if you knew me better, you would wonder if I'd lost my mind.

I don't mind mowing the lawn but I detest pretty much any other kind of yard work. It will be a long time (never) before I'm bored enough to weed, prune, etc. To get the thread back on topic, I suppose it could get bad enough at some point for me to want to tackle the learning curve of a looper but I'm not there yet. Going to woodshed the chord melody for Moonglow tomorrow.

i bought a Brand New Ditto x4 from a shop on Reverb on Monday and it was D.O.A. on Friday. The seller was quick to accept a return request and sent me a paid return shipping label. after doing some google troubleshooting, it seems these units are very unreliable. weird that i didn't hear much about it in the reviews i read before purchasing. so much for my weekend plans of becoming a master looper.
