I’m about to take the plunge on my first Z and the Plus looks like the one.
Seeing as it’s a small combo....how well does it hold up when the volume is pushed higher (say noon and above on the volumes)? I’m not really talking about tubes because that can happen with any amp.
Does the chassis hold up? Does anybody have issues with buzzing or anything happening in the amp?
Thanks!

I have pushed it really hard recently and I didn't have any issues. Z amps are built to be rugged, typically no issues. BV

I figure the build quality is excellent but I’ve had experiences with smaller combos that just can’t keep it together when things get going and sound like they’re going to explode.

I'll reiterate what BV says - no issues with my Z combos. Welcome to the Forum! A lot of great people and information here!

Mine is dead quiet... rattle-wise, that is. I’ve played and owned a lot of small combos, and most had some sort of annoying rattle. The Z plus has been perfect.

He uses the same cab for amps 2x the power. Z has always made solid, road worthy cabs!

Taking the plunge on your first Z amp is a very grand experience. Super high quality and the best tone out there. And rest assured, taking the plunge on your 15th Z is just as exciting. You’ll love it and it will inspire you.

Where’s that AMA interview about the custom made Z chassis’s?
These amps are as solid as they come.

No rattles. The chassis is rock solid and the cab is very well constructed. I LOVE my Plus!

Yeah, that's a big NO... never had any rattling/noises or construction issues with anything Doc puts his last initial on.

Does the half power switch pop when it’s flipped?

Mine don't. Where are you from? Maybe you can test one from someone. If you're near S.E. Michigan I have a few Zs you could try
