Arrived yesterday. Haven't had much time with it, but fiddled around enough to confirm that all the effects sound great--warm and organic--and tweaking parameters is easy--no sub-menus to access, no hidden secondary functions, you just turn the knobbies. Haven't tried saving presets, etc., yet. The unit is also surprisingly small--a good thing if pedalboard space is an issue (and when isn't it?), and doesn't require a ton of juice to run. One slight downside, maybe--the preset button is situated between the on/off switch and the tap-tempo switch, and it's relatively easy for a clumsy oaf like me to tap it accidentally, sending the unit off into an undesired factory preset. The main upside is that, to my ear, it's the best sounding multi-effect unit I've tried--easily beats out the Mobius, the Boss MD500, and the Line6 HX Effects, which sound somewhat sterile in comparison.

Your opinion of the Leslie effect?

I'm not a Leslie expert--never played through a real one--and I haven't tried this one in stereo, which might be the real test. But in mono I'd say it stacks up well against the Strymon Lex/Mobius, the Neo Mini Vent V1, the Line 6 HX Effects and the EHX Lester, all of which I've owned at some point. It's in the same general ballpark, for me.

How's the vibe? I like the idea of having a vibe with tap tempo and presets.

How's the vibe? I like the idea of having a vibe with tap tempo and presets. Again, I'm not a huge vibe expert, but it sounds rich and warbly like you'd want--very Hendrix-like. I bought it mainly for the tremolos (excellent), and the phase, flange and chorus effects (it's the only chorus I own). I also wanted to try out the rotary effect and see if I could figure out a way to use it effectively on stage. My trouble there is that whenever I A/B a rotary effect and a good phaser, I always like the phaser better. I think my overall take is that the Terraform just sounds really good. All the pre-post I/O stuff is kind of baffling/extraneous for my purposes, though--I just fiddled around with connections until I got what seemed like the optimal sound out of it.

I'm pretty sure you can NOT do two effects at once, is that correct?
