Killer guitar!
I live near Milwaukee and that shop is all high end. I got a charvel Guthrie Govan guitar from them. But since sold it! Great shop!
That guitar is gorgeous.

That neck pocket seems like such a great idea. Wonder if that is a patented improvement or if we may see other builders start to copy that. I don't know if it's patented. I think it's not copied more because it's time consuming to pull off successfully. Each neck needs to be perfectly fitted by hand after the initial machining, no shims involved. The wood also needs to be very stable so it doesn't drift over time. I was watching a factory tour and they kiln dry all the wood in house, which is already considered guitar quality dry. Then they CNC the necks and age them in shop racks under real world climates for 6 months to assure any drifing has already happened. Then after all that they final hand finish, level the fretboard and install the frets. Lots of detail. I'm not sure other companies would be willing to invest that kind of time. I have to say this is the most tuning stable guitar I've ever had. It never goes out. I love it.

It's a dandy. This is the first guitar I've had with stainless frets. Every guitar should have them! I called the shop a few weeks ago and talked with Tom. He's a real nice guy. Super down to earth.
