I just bought a used blonde zwreck and both toggle switches are upside down(the switches turn the amp on when they are down(the “on” label says they should be in the “up” position)). Is this a potential red flag? Is this something I can fix?
Also is it possible to register my amp? I bought it off of reverb and I don’t know if there is a receipt(required).

Can you take a photo of the front panel and real panel? I use IMGUR as a 3rd party photo hosting site, there are various others. It might be a combo to head switch that wasn't fully executed. The switches can always be rotated but it is definitely something of flag. Photos will help Brian V

Many of Docs amps ship with faceplates that are "reversible" so the unit can be housed in a head or combo. You didn't mention if yours is a head or a combo, but my guess is that it started out life as the opposite of what it is now. I think that would make the switches work the "wrong" way.
I can't address the register question. Maybe someone else will know.
Welcome to the forum BTW! Lots of great folks here.

Yep, some amps come with a reversible faceplate so that they can be used with heads/combos as needed. Not sure if the Z-Wreck has this or not. With respect to registration, the warranty is only available to the original owner. However, in the event of needed service the Z shop offers those services at a reasonable charge and one can take comfort in that when the amp returns its in top shape by the original builders.

I just had a PM conversation with one of our brothers here who converted a Wreck that he bought from me. He told me he had to buy a new panel and solder in some wire to be able to rotate the switches 180 as there wasn't enough slack. So there may be a little work involved and maybe a new panel depending on how old the amp is. Before you tear it apart, I'd send the s/n in to the factory and ask if your amp has a reversible panel....and how much a new panel would be if not.

Doc didn't charge me for the replacement front plate. I bought a combo cab loaded with a Gold and he threw in the front panel and speaker wire w/plug at no extra charge. Best customer service I've ever had, thank you Doc!
