So this is a tad bit shameful to even be thinking about out loud but here goes. Wondering if the order of the speakers has an effect on tone or response in a 2x12 series configuration. Tried googling it but couldn’t find anything helpful.
Context: I picked up an old Z best from a nice guy on here a few months back. Its been tweaked over the years and now has two 8 ohm V30’s in series. Just picked up a G12H Creamback to get closer to the original z best speaker combination. Just wondering if there’s any change in putting the 75 watt Creamback first vs the 60 watt V30. My gut says just put the higher wattage speaker first.
I assume the answer is that there is no difference in which speaker comes first but thought I’d ask.

In this case where both speakers are 75 Watts and 60 Watts it does not matter.

I agree that the order won’t matter. And it will still be a 120W cab using the multiple of your lowest wattage speaker.
