Welp, I had both a comical and embarrassing moment this morning. Over the holiday weekend, I reconfigured my board for an FX loop and went to church early this morning to test it (the amp was still at church). When I attempted to connect the cables, to my surprise, I learned there is no FX loop on this amp. 😳
I didn't know Dr Z made a version of the Maz 18 without the loop, and I never even checked this amp when I bought it. Silly me! 🤪

If you're not old yet, you should be!
That sounds exactly like something I'd do.

I got about 10 on you!
The doc did make the Maz 18!without a loop for a long time. I may have my timeline wrong but he then started putting it in either the Reverb model or the NR , but not both at least in the beginning.
If my facts are sketchy I’ll stand corrected but he did build ‘em that way at one time.

I'm pretty sure for older MAZ series amps, at least at some point, loops were an extra-cost option. My MAZ 18 dates from 2001. No loop.

Mine is 2005. It was an easy on-the-fly fix. I just ran a patch cable on my board from the Amp Out to the FX Return and then the FX Send to the amp.

Reverb model? I believe the effects loop is standard on the NR model.
