I recently bought a new Jetta with a G12 H30 anniversary speaker. The product description on the Z website says that the Jetta comes loaded with a UK made G12 h30. Nowhere on the speaker does it say "Made in England". I thought the only Celestions still made in England are the Heritage series and the Alnicos. Can anyone shed some light on this? Don't get me wrong, the speaker sounds great in this amp. Just need to satisfy my curiosity.

If your Celestion has "Celestion International" (without Ipswich, England) in the name...it's likely Chinese-made. That may not be a bad thing, though.

Things have changed at Celestion. The greenbacks are now made in the UK again. I suspect others may be as well, you’d have to research it. And I’m not just talking about the Heritage series, the regular 25watt greenbacks are now UK made.

The G12H30 that came in my JETTA has a little “Made in the UK” sticker on the bottom of the outside of the magnet.

As does mine.
Sighted once = random event Sighted twice = anecdotal evidence Sighted thrice = DATA!
That's a statistician "joke" if there is such a thing.

A physicist, a mathematician and an economist are out bird hunting. The physicist shoots, but is wide left. The mathematician blasts away, but is wide right. The economist sets their gun aside, smiles and says "We hit it dead center, on average"
