My Friedman Dirty Shirley pedal started making noise, kind of a swooshing noise. It sounded like a tube going bad, but turned out to be the pedal. I made a recording of it and emailed Friedman amps. Dave Friedman wrote back and said to send it in. He spent three days trying to make it misbehave and ended up putting all new parts in the existing box. Intermittent problems are the worst and I was afraid that he was going to blame something else in the signal chain, but I had already double checked all that. Great customer service and fine communication too. We probably exchanged five emails or more, and it made a believer in me.
I've done business with one other pedal maker and had a pretty negative experience, like a lot of others with the same maker. Not so with Friedman, he was first class all the way, he was respectful and courteous and I highly recommend Dave and his products. He reminded me of Dr.Z, another first rate man.
