Eric, I've tried the Lil' Texas (the "Patriot" version of this speaker, I think) and thought it was quite good. Any thoughts on this Tonkerlite vs. the Lil' Texas? I seem to recall you'd used the Lil' Texas in your Ghia combo..?

I really do like both of them but I noticed the Tonkerlite was on sale.

I’m quite pleased with the Lil TX in my Cure.
I should probably try the Tonker lite in one of my 12” cabs with my Maz18NR head if it’s as good as you guys say.

*NEOs can be as much as 6 pounds lighter than speakers with Alnico or Ceramic magnets.

I have one of these Carvin X-100 amps from 1981. It came with an EVM12L speaker and with the solid oak cab it weighed close to 70 pounds! I put a 'Lil Texas Neo in it and it sounds GREAT, and weighs in the low 50 pound range now. It made a HUGE difference.
