I'm loving my Cure! The only issue is that my Astroverb isn't getting much play time! The Cure has a nice "American" sound when clean, but when I crank it and hit the footswitch I think it sounds more "British". The Astroverb is similar in size (a tad smaller, though heavier) and output, but doesn't have the range of tones that the Cure has.
And it takes fuzz pedals like a British amp- nasty in the best way.
I just bought a Guild Blues 90. It has really hot P90s and drives the Cure hard. No overdrive pedal needed- just the guitar's volume controls and the Cure's footswitch.

I dig mine more every time I plug into it. Killer amp, I'm thinking about moving it into one of my larger 1x12 combo cabs. But it sounds so good as it is. I was playing with a fella at Mini Z-Fest the other day and plugged him into a Cure. He couldn't get enough of it, I think I sold one for you, Doc!

Yes the Cure is a great amp, still happy with mine.

I'll add to the love. Mine is my #1 gig amp.

That's all you really need (though I like my pedalboard, too).
