This past week I was out of town on business and wasn't able to attend music team rehearsal at church and since there was no other guitar players available I was asked to come in Sunday morning and fill in.
So . . . . . long story short, I was up sick most of Saturday night (no, it was not because I was over served at Steve's place, ha ha) and I ended up getting to reversal a little late. This meant I didn't have any time to set up my pedal board. I grabbed my trusty Tele and plugged right in the front of the amp and got to it. Here is a little clip of a lead line I wrote. Simple but effective. I did a quick voice recording of it during sound check so I wouldn't for get it, good thing I did because I forgot it and listed to it on my way back up for the ending song!
MAN oh MAN! That amp can be so sweet sounding!!

Don’t need effects!!! I’ve been (mostly) away from effects for quite some. I love the true character of just the guitar and amp.

Soundin' good, Todd! I was running straight into my Maz 18NR today and it sounds glorious with my Black Beauty. Simple, pure, good tone.
