I've decided I would like to try something with some tremolo for a few select songs. I would prefer something that can do tremolo and reverb that can be engaged separately and together.

Yep....Flint.
A good standalone trem is the T-Rex Tremster, but it doesn't have reverb.

The Wapler Latitude is also a really nice trem pedal. I have the smaller one with 3 knobs.
No reverb on the Latitude though.
Sorry, I am not cool enough for a Strymon Flint yet....

Ever the contrarian, if you don't need all the tweakability of the Flint and you crave simplicity like I do you might take a look at the Mr. Black Deluxe Deluxe Plus.
I have a couple and as long as you're happy with your reverb and trem the way Leo made 'em you'll love this pedal.
Lot cheaper than the Flint as well.

I guess the advantage for the Flint is that the OP seemed to want to be able to independently engage either the reverb or the tremolo and the Flint has a footswitch for each.

Keith, so does the newer version called the Deluxe Deluxe Plus. The older version, called just the Deluxe Plus only engages the two functions simultaneously. The way they chose to name the updated unit is kinda confusing.

Even though I have the Flint I may look into one of these as well.

It sounds just like you'd expect as well. If you sign up for their mailing list they occasionally have sales that help a lot. I'm a bit like you; even though I have two of these I may one day try a Flint as well.

For anyone who doesn’t have the ability or desire to pay for a Flint, I always recommend the Mr. Black pedal as well. I had the rarer single footswitch version with harmonic tremolo and it was great. Not quite as good as the Flint, but no where near as pricey. Still a solid pedal.

My Cure moved me to buy a Flint. I love it! I also have a VHT Melo-Verb which was much less expensive- they're only $60-70 used, but the tremolo overdrove the Cure's FX loop in a non-musical way.

I'd add the usability of the Flint is great bc w an expression pedal you can vary the speed of the tremolo or depth of verb on the fly.

Hey OP, I’m not sure if anybody’s mentioned it but I think the Strymon Flint would fill the bill!

LOL. Seemed kind of vague to me. I'm surprised there's not an overriding opinion on this.😉
