Someone just stole a DB4 combo on reverb for $1,100 including a Weber Mini-mass Attenuator - shipping included! They got it before I could pull the trigger! Hope it was someone here that got it!

This makes me sad. It sat there for several hours today and I was contemplating pulling the trigger, but stalled :/
I shouldn’t have thought about it. But I’ve also already got myself in enough trouble doing that!

I saw that as well. What a great amp and price. If I didn't already own a DB4 I would have been all over that. Someone is going to be very happy in a few days!

I saw that and almost bought it. A Maz 18 combo just went today for something like $900. I typically don't buy used but at those prices you almost have to.

Jared Unless the previous owner went in and did some crazy mods to the amp (which has happened), the quality build of Z amps can be trusted other than tubes. It is a buyers market it seems, but to get a great amp at a bargain price and the only thing you may need to do is re-tube it is a good way to go. But if it's your 1st Z amp it could also be like a gateway drug!

Now, four Zs in the pocket later, I’m dying for a DB4 to pair with any of them... Tons of tone!!!

I sent it to Doc and they made it good as new. Even if it had been screwed around with and required Zs intervention, it still would have been a good deal!

Our local GC had one for less than that. I didn’t know much about the DB4, but listened to a bunch of clips and started dreaming. At my first opportunity, two weeks later I went out of the way to go play it. Got there and grabbed a nice Tele, sat down ready to rock. The jewel light lit up but nothing came out when I played. Tried a few things, then swallowed my pride and asked for help. Dude looked at it for 15 seconds, said it needed repair, and would get sent out. Kept checking back to see if it was back in stock. Either missed it or it went away forever.
