I read some old threads on the Neo Instruments Mini Vent II Leslie simulator pedal. I've been wanting to try one for a couple of years. I found a reasonable price on a used one and bought it. It should arrive next week.
Are any of you guys still using them? If so, where do you put it in your chain of pedals? I'm assuming it would last or close to last before the amp.

I have a DLS RotoSim. I run it almost last in my effects mainly if I choose to run my effects into the effects loop. Sounds good either way.

I run most modulation after my compressor and drives, but before delay. I think I'd vary from that if I was using a phaser, which I'd run in-between comp and dirt.
Let us know what you think of the Vent!

I too have a DLS RotoSim. I have it after the tremolo but before the delay. I always wanted to pick up the full size ventilator. I'll be anxious to here your take on the mini.

I'm interested in it too! Mini or full size?Let us know! Think of "Carolina Blues" by the Blues Travelers! Every time i get closer to a rotary spk pedal i stop because its really meant for playing in stereo(two amps)!

I used the mini vent at band rehearsal the other night. I ran it in stereo going through two amps (EZG-50 & Galaxie)
I'm super pleased with the sound. The ramp up and down when changing speeds is incredible.
Time to update my pedal board. I think I'm going to kick my vibe and chorus pedals off the board and just use the mini vent now.

Hmmm? Would that be the right pedal for "Carolina Blues"? Using two amps.
