I picked up a OBNE Black Fountain v3 and a Eventide H9 Max Dark. Well, I really wanted the H9 for the PitchFactor algorithms but it was only a little more expensive than the standalone PitchFactor pedal so I went with it. It does have delay!

+1 on the Dan Echo. I had one years ago and it was great. It went bad on me and I bought another one but it didn't have that mojo. Replaced it with a DD-7.

I have the T-Rex Replica ,not to be confused with the replicator. It’s really nice and digital, but if i did it again it would be the Analogman analog ARD whatever for sure!

No longer with me: Jam Pedals Delay Llama Jam Pedals Delay Llama Xtreme MXR Carbon Copy

I've got three TC Electronic delays, the Flashback X4, a regular Flashback, a Flashback Mini. I've been looking for a sound in my head from the '80s and the only way I could get it was to buy the same one I used back then. So I found a pretty nice old Digitech PDS 1000. It's got this great slapback sound...It's a little noisy but I dig it.

Hey Keith, What do you think of the Black Fountain? I have a V2 coming to me at some point. Ordered it early this week. Who knows when I'll get it though, with the way US Postal Service is running right now. The V2 is essentially the same thing but without Tap Tempo and Subdivisions. I really prefer a darker delay and have liked what I have heard on the demos.

Hoping to play more with the new pedals I accumulated over the last couple months over the Xmas holidays. The modulation on the delay is just different from your standard modulation. It's unique. To be honest, I didn't want tap tempo + subdivisions but this was the model my dealer had. When I get to toy with it more I'll post about it. However, you may have your by then

Totally understandable. To me it depends on the delay whether I want tap tempo or not. If it's something I might use when doing soloing and lead stuff then I kind of want tap tempo. That being said, more often than not, I just use delay to add a little space. In those instances I can get away without tap tempo. That's what I was planning on this delay for. More for vintage slap backs and a little more "airy" (I'm not sure that's even really a word. Ha!) type delay. Also this is supposed to emulate an "oil can delay" where they didn't have tap tempo for that anyway! Hope you get the home renovations wrapped up soon!

A minty one of these popped up today. Couldn't resist. Funny, i didn't know Brad Paisley had a collaborative delay Have you held onto The Doctor? Surprise to see that you found it wanting to self ocellate. I’ve had that issue with other pedals, but not at all with this.

I seemed to recall it getting pretty close self oscillation when I tried it. Maybe it doesn’t go over the edge. I don’t recall! Lol, I hold on to them all! I don’t get rid of much, if anything.

I have my eye on this one I have. Actually a lot quicker than I was anticipating. Ha! I haven't done too much with it yet, but I'm liking what I'm getting out of it. It's different than your normal delay's. If you like a delay that essentially adds space to your sound, you will like it. It's not a clean reverb where you will get U2 type tones, but if you like a darker analog type of delay it's really good. So far I really like the "Organ setting" It's a set delay time, for a short slapback. Gives you a little more control over the modulation. Really good for adding a bit of thickness to rhythm playing. On the other settings you can set it even shorter for more of a "double-tracked" type tone. I believe the other ones will go up to, a little over 800 milliseconds. If I remember correctly. That being said, it's really my type of delay. As I prefer analog delay's, tape delays and other types of darker type delays to your pristine digital delays.

It's not just the same old delay pedal.

The Meris Polymoon is killing me right now. It basically does a million variations on one thing (modulated delay). A bit pricey, but that SOUND! One of these showed up locally yesterday (absolute mint) so I’m tempted to buy it this weekend.

Lovepedal Delays, I have the Echophonic, Echophonic Jr, and a Gen 5. They replaced all my other delays, they have preamps in them already like an Echoplex Pre.

Just plugging in the Walrus Audio D1 tonight for the first time. After messing with it, and then actually reading to find out how the different parameters interact in various settings it is making some really nice noise.

I recently picked up a Walrus ARP87 and a Meris Polymoon for the collection as well.

I picked up a Eventide H9 Max Dark. What? Dark when there is a red version available? I know I've been gone for a little while but I didn't expect to come back to bizarro world lol. All kidding aside I grabbed a H9 Max about a month ago. It's unbelieveable. It took a little learning, but I got it figured out. The Ox9 footswitch really helps. I can't get over how good the presets sound. Need very little messing with. Great piece of gear.

This one has probably been mentioned before, but I just snagged a JAM Pedals Delay Llama. The standard one, not the fancy deluxe one. Anyway, this thing may eventually find it's way onto my main board, booting the JHS Lucky Cat. Don't get me wrong I like the Lucky Cat but I'm a sucker for a good 3 knob analog delay.

Moog MF delay. Analog, well built and has a drive control. Works great pushing your solos with a little slap back. Also has an expression pedal input. Ibanez DE7 delay/echo. Discontinued a while ago. I remember at the time when I bought it thinking it was better than it should be for the price. Always use it on echo mode. Glad I hung onto it all these years. Dunlop echoplex. Again, I love it for a little slap back/short delay times, before a dirty amp or od pedal. These are the only delay pedals I own right now. I like my delays as basic as you can get. I’ve had others with multiple options and such, but I never needed all the bells and whistles.

Got the new delay in the mail today. Haven't had much time to work with it this evening but did plug it in and play around with it. It is pretty cool. Quite a few bells and whistles and very versatile. Like that it lets you dial in the delay time to the millisecond.
