Anyone try this one? It's a very American, bright, Fender sounding speaker. The most Fender sounding speaker I've tried in my 1x12 combo was the Z12, which was good but I just found it "neutral" sounding. Nothing bad, just neutral. I can say I liked my 2x10 combo with Z10s that I used to have more than the 1x12 I currently have.

Haven't tried the G12C with the Z28, no. However, I will say that I tended to like larger-magnet scooped-sounding speakers best with the Z28. My favorites were the good ol' Celestion G12H-30 Anniversary and the Tone Tubby 40/40 ceramic (which is like a "better-sounding" version of that G12H-30, to my ears.) I'd tried some "American" toned speakers--both the Weber Sig. 12B and another favorite of mine, the 12F150--but surprisingly those Celestion & Tone Tubby just fit the amp much better, IMO.
For a smaller-magnet speaker (tad lighter in weight, but also slightly more reasonable volume), the WGS Green Beret--a clone of the Celestion G12M Greenback--was fantastic, too.

I have a G12H30 70th Anniv in it now. Like it. Had a Scumback H75 in it, liked it more, but like it even more in my other amp so there it stays. The G22C is a big magnet 75 watt speaker, probably similar to the Weber F150. What did you like/dislike about that one?

I've got a WGS ET65 in my 28...as my 7 year old says "10 thumbs up!".
It's not an American style speaker(Celestion G12-65 clone) but the big dust cap works well with the 'F' style output. It's all spark and spank with a Tele. I have G12H-30 as well, and prefer the ET65.
