I’m using a Maz 18 and or a Z Lux with 2 separate 12 cabs. Have a creamback in one and a Z 12 in the other. I have another Z 12 so i may just pair it with that npbut just looking for a suggestion.

I’m using a ZPlus with a Blue and a 1x12 extension with a Z12 and it sounds great.

At the studio I use a 4 different amps through the Z12 I have loaded in an ISO cab. I have the original Airbrake in line. The amps are routed with a DeLisle passive switcher.

Last week I ran my old Supro Super 606 through it. People really like that speaker.

The Z12 pairs exceptionally well with any American voiced amp; still good with British designs but really shines on this side of the pond. I’ve even got on one in a Swart STR and it kicks butt. Great speaker!

A quick off-topic question. I have one of theDeLisle passive switchers but the plastic nuts keep falling off. Have you had that problem?? If so, any solution? I was thinking of trying Loct-Tite.

I had a plastic nut that kept coming off my Peterson Stomp. Turns out the plastic nut was cracked. After a few failed attempts at glue, I just went to Lowe’s Depot, with the plastic nut, and found a metal one to fit.

Plastic nuts? You mean the knobs? I'd reach out to Jer DeLisle directly. He's very responsive.

The inputs on the back of the DeLisle unit from the amps, as well as to the speakers, are plastic rather than steel. I like how the unit works its just that I've had issues with the nut loosening. Once it fell off and input fell inside the unit. There was no way to fish it out - the unit is sealed. I ended up sending it back to Jer and they fixed it and sent it back.
