I bought this cabinet used on Reverb.com and honestly was just looking for the cabinet and the road case that came with it not the speakers because I already had a set of the Dr. Z Z10 speakers and I wanted the cabinet to do some A/B comparisons of speaker sets without the added delay of swapping out speakers using the one cabinet. To my surprise this is the best sounding cabinet/speakers I've found so far with my EZG-50. It's much different than the newer Dr. Z Z10 speakers that came in my brand new 4x10 Backline cabinet. I've discussed this in other threads here on the forum and someone asked how old this cabinet was so I'm posting here to see if anybody can identify about how old it is and the age of the speakers. See pics below. This cabinet does't seem to have the removable center back panel to convert from open back to closed back like the newer 4x10 Backline cabinets. When I got it the baffle was very loose so I had to add some screws to keep it more secure. How old is this cabinet and speakers and does it look like the speakers are original to the cabinet? Code on all four speakers (stamped on the cone): 10341 4000. These speakers don't have stickers on the sides of the magnets like the newer Z10 speakers.

I have a single 10” Z speaker that was removed from my 2x10 Z cab that I had just sitting in a box so I decided to take a look at it just out of curiosity. Oddly enough, the number appeared to be 4510341 11. Probably not much help but I did find the similarity interesting with “10341” on both speakers. Obviously, the “45” at the beginning and second set of numbers being “11” set it apart though.
