Howdy, all. Before I became the proud owner of several of the good Doctor's amps (current Z-Lux worshipper - best amp I've ever owned), I used a 1995 Korg-era Vox AC15 TBX a lot of the time. Well, short version, the MDF cabinet is essentially disintegrating, and I'd like to find a replacement. So does anybody know who might could make a replacement cabinet for a 1995 Vox AC15 TBX? I don't see anything like that on Mojo, and my local source can't help me out.
Thanks for any help!

Peter Mather made this combo cabinet for my 1961 Fender Bassman piggyback amp. It's absolutely flawless. Good prices, too! A+

That is going to be a tough one. A reproduction cabinet is going to cost you almost as much as the amp is worth.

I don't see anything like that on Mojo, and my local source can't help me out. Thanks for any help! I recently purchased an unfinished 1x12 cab on Ebay from the seller "sorrycharlie". He has MANY different styles of cabs and they look to me to be nicely made at a good price. I will post my impression of my cab when I receive it. That should be within a week. I did not see an AC15 style though. I would contact him and see if he can help you. Most of his cabs are around $175. Again, that is unfinished so you would need to apply whatever covering and grill cloth you desire. You could probably just transfer the hardware from your old cab. I see where he built a custom 4x10 Bassman cab for a customer for $235. Your cab would be smaller and simpler. I may not even cover my cab since it will probably not leave the house and it has blind dovetail joints which I think are nice. Nicer than the finger joints on most cabs.
