Who here mainly uses their Z-Plus with Humbucker-equipped guitars? I’ve always been a Strat guy, but have been playing my Les Paul a lot lately...man oh man. That thing just sings. Incredible classic rock tone with the volume knob at a moderate level and EQ bypass/boost engaged. It is downright glorious. Z-Plus is a BEAST!

The last few years I've moved away from Strats and into humbuckers. The Z-Plus sounds great with either type. It's so loaded with harmonics that the tone is addictive.

Yep, humbuckers sound great with the Z-plus. Drop your guitar tone a notch or two, engage the boost, and try slide. Harmonic greatness!!!

Anyone have experience playing P90s into the Z-Plus?

Asking both about tone and noise:Are they particularly noisy with a Class A amp?

I've not had any issues - I've got a Collings 290 with a Lollar P-90 and had no issues.

My Les Paul Special w/2 P90s sounds really good. P90s into a single ended amp are harmonic heaven.

P90s are great w/ the Z+. No more noisey than they usually are.
