Just curious, my Monza developed some noise that I believe was due to a loose pots Interrupting the ground. Tightened all pots and jacks and did a visual inspection of the internals and all seems wellnow. I am curious, the volume pot on mine is a plastic shaft CTS, while the others are metal shaft alphas is that normal or has it been “fixed”? I bought the amp used and just thought I’d ask. Amp sounds and works great I don’t plan on changing it just wondering

I've never seen a plastic shaft pot on any of my Z amps, but that certainly isn't proof that they were never used. Maybe this is a question for the shop to answer. I'd go to the link at the top of the page and ask the DR.Z repair department. Like you mention, it's not a concern as long as everything's working. Curious though!

Yes, I asked Don at the Z shop this very same thing about my Ghia. He said it was very possible that some have plastic and some have metal or both on the same amp. My Ghia had one of each and I thought to ask.
BTW: I recommend sending any used amp to the Z shop. I've sent 3 amps in and they all came back sounding even better! Plus I have a piece of mind everything is looked over and/or back to spec.
