I am about to purchase 4x10” WGS Vet10 for a cab for my EZG.
Does it matter what the total impedance for cab is?
Does the 16ohm cab sound better than the 4ohm or 8ohm.

I've used the 8 ohm and 16 ohm outputs for my EZG-50. I couldn't tell the difference.

I have the EZG-50 and the Dr. Z 4x10 cabinet with the Dr. Z speakers. It came wired 16 ohm speakers in parallel at 4 ohm. I have rewired to 16 ohm in series-parallel and I think I get more high end response out of the 16 ohm output. It's not a huge difference but I think it's there and I like it so I've left the cab that way.

I have an Avatar 4x10 and it was 16 ohm when I bought it with the Celestion speakers in it. I upgraded to 2-WGS G10C and 2 Eminence 1028’s at 8 ohm. It sounds much better with the upgrade but more to do with the speakers than the ohms. I considered the 4- Veteran 10 route, let us know how it sounds!

Do you use this with the EZG you have listed in your sig?

Yes, it sounds great. Even with the old speakers it sounded good but the sound suffered when they were pushed. With the new speakers it will take anything I throw at it.

I have a Z 4x10 and sounds pretty good. I like the fullness but it sounds a little harsh compared to my WGS 1x12 ET 90. I may have to call WGS and see what they reccomend. The cab is at 4oms btw. Whats nice about the 1x12, it is 8ohms and I can turn the amp up a little more which sounds better as well. Thanks. Corbin
