Sorry, I guess I kind of highjacked the original thread...
Yes, it is a combo... all that glitters. I am really keen to give it a try. I think it will be too loud and maybe not enough gain for me, but I won't know til I try it. I am still liking the Maz 18 NR that I've rented and it is not going back til I know for sure and it still may be the one I buy lol Good lord man. If you’re anywhere in the northeast and don’t like it, I will drive and trade you my Maz jr nr for the wreck plus $ on my end as long as it works. Killing me over here. Amp Hysteria I think I have my case under control. But seriously, get the Wreck!

Amp Hysteria I think I have my case under control. But seriously, get the Wreck! I’m just dying over here, lol. Possibly the best tone I’ve ever had was trying out a wreck combo. It’s really the only amp I regret not getting, it was $2100 and just out of reach financially at the time.

Hi Your two cents is appreciated. You make solid points. While I am prepared to buy it I won’t know for sure til I try it at the volumes I’d be playing at. The seller is even cautioning me that it may not be for me. That it has to be opened up to appreciate it. However is welcoming me to give it a go with no obligation to buy. If I don’t like it I will move on. My styles are changing. I like gain. I always have. But it’s more bluesy/jazzy gains these days. Yes, some classic rock is always good too. Thanks. I'm sure it's a great sounding amp and it seems to be an almost too good to pass up deal. Maybe you can make it work for you. You can always find a used Maz 18. I prefer the sound of big iron turned down rather than smaller amps turned up at the same volume but I play 100% clean and don't want any grit or OD. Attenuators never seem to sound as good as a well designed master volume setup to me for home use. The Gold sounds good in almost any amp.
