Two episodes in and it's funny, real and emotional.
Great show so far!

Agree. It’s from Chuck Lorre, who has given us some of the best TV (particularly sitcoms) in recent memory.

I spotted that and thought this looks good. Thanks for the confirmation. Definitely one of the next on the list.

Yes great recommendation, I watched the entire 1st season, fresh breath of comedy in the stagnate world of today
very relatable as I decline in my years

I just watched the first episode last night. I hadn't read this thread yet as I thought it was about some guitar learning program. I can't decide whether I like it or not. Well acted but, aside from a couple of one liners, I didn't find it to be very funny for a show that was supposed to be a comedy. I guess I just have a low brow (or limited) sense of humor. Black Adder and Red Dwarf are more my speed when it comes to comedy. I'll probably give it a go for another episode or two.

First 2 episodes I felt like the acting was carrying it.

Finished the whole season over the weekend. (No Black Friday etc. for me) I enjoyed the series. Humorous commentary on the awkwardness of growing old. Douglas and Arkin imo make a good pair.

I've now watched a few more episodes and am really enjoying it. Great acting and dialogue between the two old farts. I suspect I'm in their target audience which is a tad depressing when I stop to think about it. Funny stuff.
