With so many ways to dial in drive with this little monster. How are you guys setting yours?
I found it helpful to dial in the OD first then the volume when balancing the two. Kind’a like setting the eq bypass on a Remedy.

That works nicely to get you to where you want to be with the change in volume when engaging the OD.
When I'm dialing in "loud clean" as the base tome I usually go the other way around: set V in conjunction with B and T -- keeping them low -- then bring up the OD to the desired "boost".
I've found using the guitar volume to clean things up works great with "gainy" settings.
I'm still exploring.

Right now I'm running V-11:30, OD-10:00, T-1:30, B-10:30, P-1:30, M to taste. That's with the Firebird . I fooled around with other speakers and settled back on the stock G12H30. Love this amp, it's better every time I plug in.
I also really like it without pedals. Maybe a little reverb or a touch of delay, but it sounds so good straight in.

I'm real close to Dave's settings (and his are close to Mike's). Once I gig it, I'll be able to report back. I'll be using mine with Strats most of the time.
I'm interested in hearing what your settings are so far nmz.

Last night I ended up with, P-12, B-11, T-11, OD-almost 9 and V-11 (MV for room). I plugged in a 335 and got lost for several hours.
I was really digging playing it with the V-off, T&B 1 and the OD on about 9-12. Greasy LoFi (in a good way) tone. Perfect for Tom Waits songs.

That is a 335, that guitar is amazing with the NOVA. The new NOVA Dave Baker video displays this in spades. Dave nailed Creams "Crossroad " and also does improv clean cut. Look for Daves demo imbedded in the new AMA that will be released this week. Z
