Just a shout out to say I have FINALLY found my fuzz..... I've tried a boatload. Most sounded good to great, but never could get enough volume out of them. This one sounds fantastic AND can get a volume boost out of it if needed. Just needed to share... chasetone.com/chase-tone-68-red-velvet-fuzz/

Kyle makes great products! I have his Secret Preamp on my main board. I like it so much I'm considering buying another for my smaller board.

I feel quite the same... even if the volume boost is not my main criteria. This pedal sounds really good at every level of volume, which is not so easy with other fuzzes...

I am a fuzz fanatic so I am always looking for a good fuzz I also found mine in the Kingtone Guitars Mini Fuzz. The Chase Tone pedal also sound's like a great fuzz. I prefer germanium over silicon fuzz's though but it still has my interest. Thanks for posting. I have had ton's of fuzz pedals as well. I prefer fuzz over overdrive. I like the way the fuzz sustains. Also the way it cuts through the mix and cleans up when you roll back your guitar volume. The Kingtone Mini fuzz does all this very well from that ripped speaker sound to the spitting fuzz and that warm harmonic overdrive tone. Its like the early Hendrix records. Anyway Yes I can always appreciate a good fuzz!

After as few weeks with this thing I confirm....I IS my favorite FUZZ. I like 'em all at first, but they quickly get placed on the back burner and eventually sold. This one stays......for now.

Was thinking the exact same thing while playing yesterday. I even find it more consistent than my Sun Face Germanium, more easy to use at any volume and with any guitar. But in certain circonstances, the Sun Face still feels unbeatable!

Chase tone has my attention. Especially his secret preamp. Putting it before my el cap and memory lane jr and after my drives.... hmmmmmm.

You’ll love this one. Not a wall of mush, very articulate.

Just got mine today. It was definitely worth the wait. It’s an excellent fuzz. It’s fat and warm sounding like a germanium fuzz and cleans up great. I can use it as a clean boost too. Plus it stacks great with my other pedals. Thank you Mark for turning me on to this awesome fuzz!

Just another follow up on this fuzz. I just purchased a Jam pedals Wahcko wah and I run it before the fuzz when I use it. The Red velvet still sounds fat with the wah and there is no hissing or oscillation. The bass control on the red velvet helps eliminate oscillations when placed after a wah. I have my bass on my fuzz set at about 1 o'clock.

I don't have any wah left, and I never tried one with my Red Velvet... But I know I will buy one soon or later and I want to know if I need it to be buffered or not.

I don’t think there is a buffer on it but this is what the jam website says about it. All Wahcko+ pedals sold through our site after 9/2017, feature a circuit upgrade that allows for impedance sensitive pedals, like the Fuzz Phrase to be placed after the Wahcko+ with no issues! We also offer this as a mod for Wahcko+ pedals sold before 9/2017 for 20€ / $25 + shipping

In the past I would use a fulltone Clyde or Clyde deluxe with a buffer before my fuzz. But in all honesty the jam wah is way better then the fulltone. And the chase tone is a really good fuzz that also seems to react well with a wah using that bass control on the fuzz.
