Love my Zs!!! But I am considering a 5e3 tweed deluxe kit build just for the fun of it. Not sure I really like Tweed tones all the much so really it’s more about process of doing the build and saying I did it. I have no first hand experience with any tweeds, only some YouTube research. Sounds like they have limited headroom but hard to tell where the grind starts from YouTube samples. I am wondering if anyone can tell me just how loud they can get before breakup? Maybe in comparison with an M12 as I own one? Obviously the M12 stays clean way up the volume knob. Anyone have like a loudness comparison of what sort of volume I could get before the dirt kicks in? Also considering the single ended 5f2a Princeton if anyone has any insight on that model also. Thanks in advance.

Lots of info on YouTube about tweed deluxe and all the variants (narrow panel, wide panel ext.) As for usable headroom the only experience is with my friends Victoria 20112 Got to about 2-4 o’clock with a Strat before the fuzzy started kicking in so a little louder than healthy bedroom volume (say 10:00-11:00 on the M12) if memory serves me correctly.

That first clip of the guy running through the 4 tweed's is gold-the amps sound great, especially with the Les Paul.Or you could just buy a Therapy.
