Can a single vintage 30 handle the wattage of a Maz 38?

Here are the specs form the Celestian website. Its a 60 Watt speaker.

Absolutely, yes, the V30 can handle the output of a MAZ 38. The Vintage 30 is capable of handling 60 W--always has been. Though, to be fair, this has been confusing people since they introduced the speaker 32 years ago.

Definitely, I used a V30 for several years with my 38, no problems at all. Eventually I changed it for a Gold, and now a Creamback M which I prefer.

Great speaker just put one in my Classic 30. Bought a traynor extension cab with the vintage 30 and took it out immediately that day. paid 265. that day i sold the empty cab for 310 and had to pay 95 shipping to Ohio. So I ended up paying $50 bucks for basically brand new Vintage 30. That was a good day. I also ran it in my mesa rocket 44 which is 45 watts and no problems whatsoever. Good luck, you will be happy.
If you are still hesitant, the Celestion Heritage 65 is a great speaker as well.
