Anyone have a good solution to anchor the screen mesh that is over the top of the tubes on the head? Mine took a spill and knocked the mesh off, but after looking at it, it looks like it was glued on..... I'm wanting something more stable/permanent but has anyone put screws back on these things??

Screws (short ones!) ought to work just fine, however it might be difficult to install inside the head-cab unless you've got a shorty screwdriver.
A lot of older Z-amps had that black metal mesh as their back covers, and they were attached with 2 screws on each side--same as the current wood back-plates are.

Thanks Mark, I was thinking of just glueing it back on, but I like the option of the screws, just seems a little more sturdy. I was surprised it stayed on this long, the doc must use some very industrial adhesive to have that stick this long, and if it weren't for the amp head being knocked off the speaker from about 4-5 feet off the ground, it would probably still be okay.

Another vote for staples. I bought a pneumatic stapler and it's one of the best tools I've got that I didn't think I needed.

There's a testimonial to the great build of Doc's amps. You only had the screen come loose. I'd vote for re-gluing the screen back on.
