I just ordered a Brake Lite for my incoming new Wreck combo. I think I read somewhere that someone mentioned pulling his chassis out to install a Brake Lite. Will I have to do this?

I've read in the past that sometimes a chassis needs to be pulled to change a speaker, but I can't see doing it for a brake--lite.
you'll likely be installing it somewhere that's easily accessible, I suspect. I may be wrong on this, though.
Edit- Then again, the chassis on the Z-Wreck is vertically mounted (as opposed to flat mounted to the top) on the rear panel, I think, so that may mean removing the chassis to have ample room to work.

I installed a BL in my Wreck combo on the bottom of the cab. There was no need to remove the chassis. I secured it with special double-sided tape. (I think it was a 3M product meant for outdoor use such as sticking numbers on a mailbox.) I sold the amp, and it traveled from NY to CA without incident.

Ok, this should be my last question. Before I screw the brake lite down does anybody have any suggestions as to where is a good place inside of a Wreck combo? Bottom, side? .... Does it even matter regarding resonance of the cab?

Does it even matter regarding resonance of the cab? I would say no on the resonance factor. However, you may want to put it somewhere so as to not cover the speaker bolts in case you ever want to change it...if that type of placement is even possible.

I think I'll put mine on the bottom of the cab like our pal doctorice suggested. Worked for him, plus you can glance at it and see which click you're at.

Does it even matter regarding resonance of the cab? As noted above, you might want to think hard about using two-sided tape as mentioned or velcro - just in case you want to use it in more than one Z.

Does it even matter regarding resonance of the cab? I highly recommend using heavy-duty double-sided tape, but it's your call obviously.

VHB tape by 3M. I believe my Brakelite came with a couple of pieces of that attached. I never used it. If you mount the BL vertically I wouldn't trust it and would use screws instead. It you mount it on the bottom of the cab it should work fine.
Actually my MAZ 18 came from the dealer with the BL already installed using screws. I suspect that was done by the dealer and not by the Dr Z folks, for whatever that is worth.

Air ye go. Glad to see you're a "Comfort" man like myself, Tony! Even with the BL on 4 the tone shines through with the Wreck. I'm loving mine. I just did a shootout between the Brake Lite and the Fryette Power Station (Reactive attenuator w/ 50 w 6L6 re-amp) and I expected to hear a lot more difference than I did. With the Z-Wreck at 12:00 volume, even on 4 clicks the Brake Lite sounded so close to the Power Station that you'd be hard pressed to hear the difference in a live situation. It does seem to maintain more dynamic range but with the Wreck, it's not much. Other amps really react much differently to the two attenuators, and that's when the P.S. comes into it's own. But with the Wreck, I think I may have to get some audience feedback at our next gig and switch between the two. It'll be interesting.
