I was shopping around Chicago this weekend and ran across a Delta 88 at RNRV. Just figure I would throw that out here. I did not ask a price it was in one of the amp rooms.

I checked their website but it wasn't on there.

Not everything is on the website. Its there sitting on the first row, 3 amps in on the the left side. Kind of wish I would have plugged it in.

Thanks for the heads up bubs42! Snagged it. Looks like it's #1 - I'll confirm when I get my mitts on it.

I'll share the serial once I get the amp (shipping from Chicago to BC). From the pics I couldn't see a serial number and I'm wondering if maybe it doesn't have one?
Yes Mark, I'm pretty sure I bought one from you a while ago here on the board. This will be 88 #4 for me. I love these amps (obviously).

The only problem is that once you get addicted to the GT KT88SV nothing else sounds quite the same. I've got mine running about 50mA and putting out about 110W.

It sounds great at all volume levels, and the volume control tracks exactly like you'd expect...50% is really 50%. It's kind of the opposite of many tube amps like my Mazerati GT, which is 100% on at 9:00 and just gets more saturated from there.

I'm hoping the Z-80 will be similar 😎 The Delta sounds like a fantastic amp too.
