do nothing more than pat or rub my strings to see if I warmed it up long enough, the sound of just touching the strings is obvioulsy to me, a step ahead of other amps. There's a tone to it that just says "Completeness", "Balance", "Fullness". I don't remember ever hearing exactly what this amp has, before. It kind of reminds me of a good Princeton reverb which, having a 10" speaker, has a response that I thought a 12" would never get, but this one does. This amp has good tone that is almost beyond belief for me. And that's a big smile . I'm a clean player that uses one pedal, occasionally. This amp is extraordinary for clean. And you guys who say the Master Vol is great. Oh my gosh! Again, I've never seen one like this. The tone stays so much the same, even when pretty darn low in volume. And the gradation of the volume increase- slow, smooth, controllable.

I never used to buy combos but the CME Z-Lux demo was the first demo that made me want to get a Z combo.
The amp sounds fabulous in that demo ((and others, obviously).

On my wish list....would love having reverb and tremolo with the switchable wattage. What is your usual wattage setting?

It is the perfect gigging amp!
(I have never used the 40 watt setting.)
