I had a Forte vertical 212. I was well made to say the least. The avatar cab looks exactly the same. Mine was a vertical 212 with the top open and bottom closed. In the end it was more like using two separate 112 cabs and it didn't have the big sound like a 212. The one you linked looks like it would be better though as it's not totally separate inside.
I sold mine to Merks. Maybe he'll post about it. I think he liked it.

It looks to me as if it would sound like a normal 2x12 open back cab but would not be dependent on a surface behind it to reflect the sound. Maybe a nice thing on a large stage where you are a long way from the back wall or are on an outdoor stage. I doubt it would sound better than a Z-best though. It also looks to be very light. I'd like to hear it with a pair of good neo mag speakers.
