If my Z friends read my last post about Brother's Pawn Shop album, you know that my son Adam is their drummer. Well they just released a new album called Port St. Joe. I thought Pawn Shop would be hard to beat, but I'm telling you guys, this Port St Joe is just as awesome. The first song is Slow Your Roll with some great just clean guitar riffs. But what makes it different is that they go straight into the next three songs without your normal pause between songs. They tried to make it sound "live" the best they could.
The album was recorded of course in Port St Joe Florida in a beach house that belongs to their record producer Jay Joyce. They thought it would be good to get out of the normal Nashville recording studio thing and just relax and play music and enjoy doing it. It turned out to be a huge success. The forgotten guitar rides that we use to hear in the past in songs have been revived with some powerful riffs by John Osborne on this album. TJ plays some great guitar also, but does the lead vocals. Not because my son is the drummer, but this band is awesome.
Check it out!

Morning purpletele, it's an Agape Eve by Rich Chaffins in Morgantown, West Virginia. I've never seen another like it. Plays like butter. It has Mcnelly A2 & Bliss pickups and a Schroeder TL bridge as well as hipshot locking tuners. www.agapeguitars.com/
