I've been playing with a Vox AC-15 for a couple of years, gigging small to moderate sized venues playing blues. Using just a little bit of TS-9 mostly good old tube overdrive for edge.. Guitars are Tele for slide, Epi Riviera and a '59 LP. I have used the Maz 18 jr in our practice studios and all seems well, thiking about that fateful plunge (for the 1x12 combo) and wonder what comments you might have..

Well... The AC-15 and MAZ Jr are pretty different. The MAZ isn't quite as "Vox-like," and is really a bit more like a "USA" type amp with some Brit thrown in. Kind of like a cross between an AC15 and a Deluxe/Vibrolux.
The MAZ Jr will be a bit more powerful as well, although I'm sure the two together would sound nice.
You'll be able to get tones you are familiar with out of the jr, but it's overall a more versatile beast than the AC15- which of course is a great amp in it's own right.
