I bet that will sound fantastic! I've played a Z28 4x10 combo before that was pretty amazing, I imagine the 66 will be great too! Hope this doesn't break your back hauling it around! God bless, Todd

Update:
Unfortunately Fedex hadn't delivered the cab in time for the gig. <sigh>
I'll bring it home tonight (they "finally" delivered it to my work address) and give it an albeit, quieter test run.

Update # 1001...
We've had several weeks off which, while appreciated, does tend to squash plans to put the Route in "rotation." As mentioned in another thread in the Lounge we're headed to New Mexico Friday for a two night run so...I'm packing the Route and the 4x10. I spent tonight rearranging the pedalboard (don't we all...ALL the time?!?) and playing it through the rig. I believe it'll work just fine!
More to come...

Tone Report: In a word...WOW! I pulled the Air Brake out of storage as I knew we'd be throttled volume-wise (sho'nuff!). I ran it a couple notches down and placed my pedalboard case in front of the cabinet. The MXL DX2 mic was promptly dropped in front of one of the 10s and off we went. A glorious sound indeed. Now I have another cab I need a road case for...it never ends. Here's a video though the camera audio isn't the best...but gives you an idea: Video_Link

DC here! Good to hear you're putting the Route66 back into circulation. (lols) Its a fantastic amp and maybe one Dr-Z's most unique designs. Keep rocking - Cheers: Dixiechicken!
