The Anni 'Rati is a step closer to reality! I have the original Mazerati #001 that I picked up a while back. Doc had borrowed it to help voice the Anni 'Rati (along with one of Joe's I believe). FedEx delivered it this afternoon. Can't wait to see and hear the new one!

I keep telling myself why I shouldn't buy a 30'th anniversary but I can't think of a good reason not to. I love my V2 Mazerati but a V1 wouldn't hurt, would it?

If it's any comfort - I own Mazerati #001, a have a head version of the V2 and a combo Version of the V2 - and I'm still in line for the 30th Anni.

I thought you meant you were going to tell your wife to see a movie or something...so you can blast in the basement for a while.

I'm so self conscious about my playing...I can't play in front of her.

I wonder what speaker(s) Doc will choose to bring to it's unveiling at Z-Fest?

Hey Mike, is the combo with a V2 a single 1x12 blue? Yes but it is a Vox Blue (not sure if that makes a difference). It shouldn't. It should still be a 15-watt rated speaker (although they are likely conservatively rated at 15 watts...can likely handle 20-25 watts).

I have a 1x12 Blue cab, and a 1x12 Gold in a cab. I'm thinking one of those should do the trick? Or both together!

Has anyone tried an Alnico "Cream" yet? I have not, but if I recall correctly, somebody on this forum just tried it recently (likely with a different amp) and ended up not loving it. Similarly, I can say that within WGS's speaker line, both the 15W Black & Blue and the 50 W Blackhawk are definitely along that G12 Blue and G12 Gold vein... but you go up to the Blackhawk HP, and it's a different speaker. I presume the same might be true with the Celestion Cream vs. the Blue and Gold sounds.
