Anyone else considering making a run at one of these? I am a fan of the tube screamer and this could be a good option for a large, crowded board. I do not own any JHS pedals, currently.

That looks sweet. The ad copy says it activates the specific components used in the circuit it's emulating, something like that? So it looks like its's not a modeler, but a real analog overdrive. If so, sounds like a fun pedal. I just got a TS Mini and at the front of my OD board it works great to give a little push to the others. Looking forward to hearing more about it.

I have been watching for a forum review of this pedal. Anyone picked one up yet?

I have been watching for a forum review of this pedal. Anyone picked one up yet? I’ve got one. Cool pedal, found that a bunch of the settings didn’t really do it for me, but a couple of them nailed it. It’s now the first OD pedal I step on when I’m playing. Stacks well with other overdrives too.

That Pedal Show did a review of it and they liked it.

Thanks guys. I have watched the demos online but wanted to some “local knowledge” and feedback. I’ll probably go ahead and get one ordered.

I love mine! Great pedal.
I use the Keeley Mod Plus mode and their own JHS mode the most. The JHS mode is open and brighter, louder, etc. Great for rhythm. The Keeley mode has a nice dark smooth tone for leads.

I picked one up last week. Sounds great. Quality appears to be excellent. If you like tubescreamers, definitely a legit choice.

JHS knows their Tube Screamer thing. I picked up the EH East River Drive from the JHS Reverb shop that had their mod for super cheap. It sounded really good, no doubt that the pedal they did from scratch sounds as good or better. Didn't keep it because I have enough TS type pedals. I have a 808 kit that I built, the JHS mod sounded way better. I have a Cusack Screamer Fuzz and I did some AB tests and the Screamer side the JHS sounded darn close and were both awesome.
