Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone has any pro quality sound clips of the RX ES or RX JR? This amp intrigues me, I'd love to hear how it sounds micd up!
Thanks!

Hey Chris... Just saw this post. I have an RXJR head, and like you, I had a hard time finding any decent recordings online. I could try to track some clips for you. Should't be too hard. I have professional video equipment for work and an H4n that I could use. Let me know if you're still interested. It would be my privilege to return the favor since I've listened to quite a few of your demos. Although, the playing won't be anywhere near your caliber As far as speakers go, I have a 2x12 open back with a blue/G12H30. Can mic either or both. Also, have a 1x12 closed with a Chinese greenback reissue. H4N has a built in stereo condenser that actually sounds pretty true. Works well as a room mic about 3-5 feet back. Can close mic with a 57 or e906. Let me know if you have a preference.

Side note: Love your demos of the Rockett stuff. Jay Rockett apparently lives right around the corner from me here in south Denver

But if it's too much hassle, don't worry about it! The condenser mic or 57 would be great!
