During practice my Maz jnr combo packed up and 750ma fuse blown . I replaced it but blew again ! Replaced the rectifier tube and fuse went again . Did the checklist : pull all the tubes and power up . Still blew the fuse . So with a heavy heart I took it to my local tech ( uk ) fearing the worst . It turns out it's the power transformer and he says he doesn't know why but if I get another he will fit it . Questions are where in the uk can I get one and how do I know it won't just blow again ? It's a mint 2013 Amp I bought second hand and never had the speaker unplugged ... I'm gutted and currently don't know what to do ? Is it dead ? Is it worth trying or sell as is ?

Very unusual occurrence! I've been on the Forum for almost 9 years and have never seen this issue. Doc's amps are built like tanks. I'd check with Peach guitars to see if they can help you. Also send a note to Don at repairs@drzamps.com to see what they recommend. Don's a knowledgeable guy and will have some thoughts. Good luck.

Cheers , I’ve spoken to Peach’s repair guts and they say the same thing . In fact they’d never heard of it happening, which just worries Me more ..
