I've used D'Addario XL strings forever. Started out with the 9's, but have been using the 10's for the last 8-10 years.

Primarily I use D'addario 10s. Either pure nickel or nickel plated. I also like Pyramid Maximum Performance 10s.

I'm using D'Addario NYXLs these days. 9's on Fender-type guitars...10's on Gibsons.

DR Pure Blues for a long time now. Started with the light-n-heavy (9-46) but moved to mediums several years ago. I put those on all the electrics so the string feel and tone is consistent across guitars. I loved the old Guild phosphor bronze on the acoustics but they quit making them. So now it’s the DR phosphor bronze or Pearse occasionally. Once I find a string I like and can get easily (I usually buy online 10 sets or so at a time) I stick with them a long time - not much of an experimenter with strings.

I use Ernie Ball Cobalt Slinkys 10 to 52. They are a coated string. I use them on all my electrics.

I changed over to the Ernie Ball slinky Primo 9.5
I agree with gbowman they are very well balanced and feel and sound great. I also tried the Ernie Ball turbo Slinky 9.5 they are not bad either.

I've been playing D'Addario 9-42's for decades. Just bought a few sets of 8's. I used to use them way back and I like 'em. They sound great too.

D'Addario 10's, I think they're XL110 have been my go to for some time now and I'm perfectly happy with them. I've got their 9's on my late 80's PRS, because that's what it came with and I Like the way it plays.

D'Addario NYXL 10-46. I play with a good bit of hair on my tone and the 10's have a more upper mids and top end to my ears. I have a stat that i play cleaner stuff on and use 11-48. Warmer tonr, dont want the snap of the lighter strings. 9-42's sound best, for rock, to my ears, but i just cant get my fingers on them, i fumble and over bend with them too much. Cant recommend the NYXL's enough. Great tone and longevity.

My offset callings came with 11's, so i tried NYXL's and they sound great and last a long time. Have used Ernie Ball slinky regular 10's on G&L ASAT, but am also trying the NYXL 11's. So far sounds more full, i think. still messing around though. They do cost more, but last longer like the Elixors.

DC here!
I've used 10-13-17-26-36-46 on all my electric guitars forever. Means it's a difference in tension between my Tele and my Les Paul.
Never bothered about brands really - just bought the cheapest sets in the store. There's maybe hundreds of string brands but only handful of factories that actually make the strings.
Lately I've started to use the Elixir strings ( aka polymer coated.. gizmo something..) to see if it's worth the extra money. We'll see.....
Cheers: Dixiechicken!

I’m trying some Super Slinky lights (9-42) and some DR Pure Blues light (9-46) on my PRS McCarty and the Epi LP. I’m a 10-46 guy normally, and keeping those on the Strats and ASAT.
The band wants to do Roll With The Changes (REO) and all those unison bends are a bit€h on 10’s.

I played either EB or D'Addario 10-46 for decades. I recently went to DR Pure Blues 9-42. I like the tone better and the faux steel bends are easier. I made one change though. I am using a .010 as the first string. When doing steel bends a lot of times you are holding the first string note on pitch and bending another string up a half or whole step. It is a lot easier to keep the .010 on pitch. I think the intonation on a three-piece Tele bridge is a little better also.
Anyone here remember Nashville Straights in the long straight packaging that were around in the late '70's to early '80's? I liked those a lot. The intonation was the truest of any strings I ever used.
