Nothing important to report here lol, just greatful for finding the Therapy.
I grew up on Fender amps and I'm not gonna knock them. The vintage Fenders are fabulous in my book but I've never really had a true vintage Fender. I started getting serious about my amps a few years back although I've been playing guitar since 85'. Crazy it took me this long I know!
My long and expensive quest started with my (at the time) gigging amp, the Blues Jr. From there my search initiated with the 68' Custom Vibrolux and something was still missing for me. Then I went with the Fender Blues Deluxe with an extension cab. To me that amp wouldn't cut through the mix so I made a gentleman on Reverb very happy and basically gave that rig away. Keep in mind I'm losing money along the way lol.
This is when I decided to hop in to Z territory. I figured that if I couldn't find my tone I would give up. First off was the Maz 18 R. This amp woke me up and I felt like I was on the right track. Still, there was something missing for me. Maybe it was that this amp demanded high volumes? Not too sure. Anyway, I made another dude happy and sold it.
I decided to give it ONE more try with Therapy. It took me literally two minutes to know that my search was over! What a great feeling and what a lifelong amp! I know I went on long enough here, but if there is some poor dude who's in the boat I was, I hope they can save some cash and not figure it out the hard way like me.

Shane,
I too feel that that amp is special. I really like the natural tone with a slight touch of Reverb.
I installed the EQ Bypass Mod and I really like the performance when its engaged!

I feel this way too, however, my Carbon Copy delay gives me that reverb feel. I only use 4 pedals with my Therapy; the Paisley Drive, Blues Driver and SP comp. of course, I use a floor tuner but that's what I call a service pedal. The only pedal that's always on for me is the SP compressor.

I echo all of that. Ended my amp quest. I couldn't be happier with it.
